Kathmandu is a buyers mecca! What an amazing destination for shopping. There truly is a great variety of things for shoppers of all sorts. I only wish I had more time, and if I did, I would probably still be shopping (maybe it’s good I didn’t have more time). There are so many things I now wish I bought- that’s ok though, I’ll be back. Along with great things, everything seems to be really cheap, as long as you haggle of course. Everything is negotiable

I buy a lot of things from every country I visit. One reason is because I really like to have a collection of international treasures. Another reason is that I want my home and space to be a reminder and reflection of my travels. Lastly, I like to support local business’, artists, craftsmen etc. Although still souvenirs, it is important to me to always come back with something that will really be a reflection of my time in that destination.
