Though there may be no real rules to traveling, there are ways to make your self a much better traveler than the rest. I will not say I’m always a good traveler, but I do my best to be one. Here are my top ten tips to being the best traveler you can be!

NUMBER ONE: Learn a word- or two!

I was raised to always say please and thank you; those rules should apply to everywhere you go. However, what is the point of saying please and thank you to someone who doesn’t understand…

I don’t consider myself to be a particularly emotional person. However, something about the airport arrivals lounge always gets me.

I typically prefer to be on the departures side; ever so often I really like to be on the arrivals side too. Although I hate to admit it, I sometimes (creepily almost) observe people anxiously wait for their loved ones. Travelling is not all fun and games; it can be a tough gig. Travels are full of adventures that come with planning and organizing. Once that is done, it comes down to the doing. 24 hours of activity, exploration, learning; sleep is for the weak after all. So after back-to-back trips that involved pure exploration and not relaxation, it was time for a quick getaway.

Even a traveller needs a vacation; and what better place to do it than the Dominican Republic. In the true testament of any…
